Meaningful Work is a program in which Lynndale students choose to participate in jobs at school that benefit our school community. Jobs might range from recycling paper in the office to serving as lunchroom helpers. Some students work as teachers’ assistants, stapling papers or putting work in folders. Others choose to serve as lunch recess helpers with Tony, our custodian. They might rake the flower beds, or sweep leaves from the walkways. Jobs are posted on the front hall bulletin board, and students who wish to apply are required to fill out an application and go through an interview process before being “hired.” Meaningful work helpers make a wonderfully positive difference to everyone at Lynndale. We are proud of them and we appreciate them for all they do!
