Ms. Stewart

Johnna Stewart, Counselor

Hi! My name is Johnna Stewart, and I have been the school counselor at Lynndale since 2004. I’ve gotten to know lots of the kids and families, and I think Lynndale is a great place. Let me tell you a little about myself and the guidance/counseling program here.

I received my Bachelors in Psychology in 1994 from the University of Charleston, and a Masters of Social Work in 1997 from Eastern Washington University. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors. I love biking, hiking, working in the yard…well, you get the idea!

I believe in a comprehensive guidance program, one that addresses the needs of the entire Lynndale community, including students, families and staff. The goals of Lynndale’s guidance program are to provide a variety of activities that help strengthen student and family connection to school; address and minimize barriers and needs; and provide a fun, supportive environment with activities and programs that help enhance student academic learning while addressing social and emotional needs.

Please explore some of the links on the Counseling page, as we develop a site that reflects the truly dynamic and kid-centered programs here. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions, if you are interested in any of the programs, or if you want to help out in any way!

I enjoy working with your students and we work hard to make Lynndale a great school!
